Description This 1979 Reims F172N is known to us for over 25 years. It has been locally based and hangared by a flying club operated by an aircraft engineer. The aircraft was originally used as a border patrol aircraft in Germany, and has the 50 USG Long Range tanks fitted which make it very versatile in places where AvGas might not be readily available. The paint and interior are original, and have held up well but more importantly there is nothing hidden, it s just an honest example. The panel has been updated with a Trig 8.33 kHz Com and Trig TT-31 Mode S with the optional ADSB WAAS position source. The aircraft has 5267hrs TTAF, and 1186hrs SMOH in March 2013.
